... Mantak Chia is ranked 18th in the list of the 100 most spiritually influential people. (Watkins)

We are pleased to present our 2012 list of the 100 most mentally influential living people. We have done our best to accommodate as many people as possible and our spiritual database contains the names of about 500 candidates. This list is intended as a guide to some of today's leading modern teachers, and we hope you are as inspired by their impact as we are.

There are several factors that have been taken into account when compiling the list. The three main criteria are:
     1) The person must be alive
     2) The person must have made a unique and spiritual contribution at the global level
     3) The person is googled frequently, turns up in Nielsen Data and is actively discussed throughout the internet
It's interesting to think about how many times a person is googled. In a sense googled is a form of digital voting and illustrates how often someone is picked.
